OFFICIAL RULING

OFFICIAL RULING BY JUDGE COADY

“Energy and Persistence conquer all things”
-Benjamin Franklin-

While you take a moment to celebrate and congratulate your neighbors on this victory for Lacombe, please remember that this is not over. Each of us must always be vigilant so that we do not have to suffer future injustices or infringements on our rights. Lacombe is moving in the right direction and while we will remain the charming community we have always been, we must strive to always be the best that we can be.  In order to do so, we must remain committed, aware and involved in our community.

The Board of CCL would also like to express our most sincere and deepest appreciation to Mr. Rick Richter of Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, LLC and his talented staff. Without the brilliance and fortitude of these people, the outcome may not have been the same. If you feel compelled, please drop a note in the mail or an email to CCL and we will forward all of your comments of appreciation to them.  We ask that you also consider a donation to defray the legal costs that we have incurred.

The Board also wishes to thank all of you who have offered your support and encouragement over the last seven months.  We have been very touched and at times overwhelmed by the truly generous nature of the people of Lacombe. We feel blessed to have been able to represent the will of the citizens in the community of Lacombe on this journey.  Our next event is a garage sale planend for September 10. We still need your donations and volunteers to make this a success! Please contact Shannon Villemarette (504) 250-6074  if you have a donation or wish to help.
